This is the second course built at the resort. It's very challenging, but a great test of golf. World class closing hole.

OK. Our 2nd time playing this course. We're poor and can only afford the winter rates. We played yesterday, pretty hard steady rain. So what? It is just spectacular. The ocean waves, the scenery, the friendly people, it all comes together. No wonder it is the number one public access course in the US. I've played Pebble Beach 4 times, Spyglass Hill numerous times, they are very nice of course, but they really don't compare. This is bucket list stuff people. If you're an avid golfer like me, you should treat yourself. PS: I'm 71 yrs old and shot 77 and I only drive the ball 210 yds. The putting is where it is at. Extremely difficult to read the greens, but you can putt from 100 ft away.

What a special place, truly a homage to the way the game was created. Wonderful bunkering and scenic vistas along the ocean. No carts and how wonderful to see golf designed without having to see where they made concession to work an asphalt path into the hole. I would suggest taking a caddy for a great experience and to help from getting lost. Learn to hit the ball low, you're going to need that shot everywhere around here and don't forget your GORETEX, you may need that too.

Very picturesque golf course. Gets a lot of play, which I think affects the quality of the greens. Layout is a lot of fun.
