I would absolutely book this hotel again if in the Bandon area. The location is perfect with great views of the sea stacks and beach access behind a few of the rooms. If you are a photographer the beach access here is maybe a mile north of the section most photogs shoot. You can drive down the road and park there or you can hoof it down the beach from here. (We drove and parked)

The room is comfortable and updated. I like the trend of hotels using wood floors instead of carpet - it just seems easier to keep clean. The bathroom is large and the hot water is hot quickly. It was nice to have a deck off the room. Overall, this is a great value for what you get. Very comfortable.

This is a motel with lovely rooms, some newer than others, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms with ocean views do not offer much privacy if you keep your curtains open but the motel offers cliff and beach access for walking. The kitchen amenities allowed us to buy food and eat in the room when we didn't feel like going to a restaurant. The room price is very competitive which is why we decided to try a room at this motel and we are glad we did!

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the older units (#9) which had a separate bedroom which was great traveling with a teenager. The kitchenette was well stocked with wine glasses, bowls, cups, toaster, microwave, fridge. We did not use the oven or the stovetop. The couch was old and very very soft to the point of creating back pain when sitting on it for long. Fortunately no need to sit long since the ocean/beach is about a 3 minute walk. Beach access is down a path but whale watching from the bench on Coquile Point was also very fun and right outside the door. The hotel has an excellent location for beach lovers! The reason I don’t give it 5 stars is the fact that the room is small, a bit musty smelling (but very clean) and the heater is either on or off so difficult to adjust the temperature. Overall, definitely a place I would go back to. All the people working there are super friendly!

Thank you for your informative review, and feedback. We work really hard on keeping our rooms spotless, so we really appreciate the positive feedback on the cleanliness of the room. We will see what we can do about the heater issue, and are looking into replacing the couch. We love our location, too, and we're glad you had an enjoyable stay, and are happy to hear you'll be back! We look forward to your next visit to Bandon. :D Thanks again!

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable! The people in the office were very friendly and helpful. They even gave us a little gift, a special coffee cup for each of us. They had bottled water free and overall our visit was very nice.

You can't get friendlier staff/owners or more helpful services that they provide at their office! They have buckets of clean water with squeegees and towels, outside the office. for guests to clean their car windows. do you know how NICE that is? Well if not, it's NICE! My side of the car windshield was salty and dirty every morning, and it was so nice to be able to clean it and go! We stayed here a LOT this last vacation! We stayed in the old section and the new section. We stayed in both small rooms with no view, and slightly larger rooms with partial views, in the old section. These rooms are old motor lodge styles rooms, that probably date back to the 40's or 50's. They are not extravagant, but basic. What steps them up to another level though, is the thought that goes into accommodating the rooms. Wine glasses, cork screws, some fridges, and just the personal touch that that ladies put into each theme room. There are televisions with cable. The new section is just that. They have patios and balconies that face the south, with partial ocean views. We stayed in an upper floor room on a very windy day, and while it was cold outside, and the wind was whistling around our front door, the balcony was warm and cozy. You are walking distance to cliffs and trails down to the beach. It's all about the area! We look forward to staying here again and again!
