Nice, big hotel with great beach access and an awesome pool. When the Pacific is too cold head to there great saltwater pool that is heated. That'll wear the kids out! I always say the beachfront buildings are worth the price. Why go to the beach if you can't see it from your room. With all the beach coming and treks to Haystack rock, you'll want a comfy and scenic place to rest and recover.

Room Tip: PAy to stay in the southern beachfront building. Moe's parking lot stinks.

We were in Cannon Beach for a family wedding. We found the accomodations and location of the Tolovana Inn just right for us. We ate at Moe's next door and enjoyed some family visiting time in the lobby by the fireplace.

We feel this hotel/Inn is a bit tired and worn. It is in a nice location and right next door to a fun family restaurant.
A big disappointment was the lack of air conditioning. We stayed on a rainy humid night and without air conditioning the room was sticky and uncomfortable. A/C should be standard in any hotel of this caliber. Another item we felt was neglected was the bedding. In any hotel I have stayed at in recent years, the beds are double sheeted and/or have duvets. This hotel still has blankets that remind one of yesteryear. They have DVD players in the rooms and rent old movies at the front desk for the outrageous price of $4.50. This could be a very nice property with a little upgrading.
