Proprietor has a sense of humor and made outstanding recommendations on food AND wine. Escargot was outstanding. Great meal top to bottom!

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere in a quaint little town. Very knowledgeable and attentive to food allergies. A terrific stop after touring area vineyards. We come here anytime we are in the area and always leave sated and happy!

My husband and I ate dinner here while staying in Carlton for the night. It was so worth it and made our evening very special indeed. The food was spectacular - in particular we enjoyed the mushrooms on polenta. We also had one of the best desserts we have had anywhere (flourless chocolate cake with a hint of cayenne and mint). The owner was very friendly with us and the service was attentive. The wine list included both Oregon and French wine, though the owner basically would not let us order local wine (to be fair, his recommendation was excellent).

Most of all Cuvée reminded us of meals we have had in France. Everything about this place is very, very French and it is all the better for it. I definitely recommend a meal here.

My boyfriend and I had an 8:00 reservation for dinner at Cuve'e after a wonderful day of wine tastings in the Valley. We were seated right away and promptly attended to. We were there on Wednesday night so we had the prix fixe menu and it was perfect. I particularly loved the shrimp and scalloped baked dish. A bonus to the delicious meal was meeting the owner Gilbert. He checked on our table several times and we engaged in friendly conversation throughout the evening. He gave us good shipping advice for all the wine we bought at the wineries and even went into the back and brought out packaging we could use to help us save some money. Overall a wonderful experience and I would highly recommended making a reservation at Cuve'e if you plan to be in the area!

Our Dinner Group met last night at a place out in the middle of Oregon's lovely farmland and vineyards. Even though the drive from Beaverton took us about 45 mins it was well worth the trip and we look forward to returning as a couple next time! Cuve'e is a lovely French Restaurant on the Main Street of Carlton,Oregon. Carlton is not usually a destination but getting there is an enjoyable drive. White table clothes, friendly staff, and charming decor. Their menu has about six appetizers, six entrées, and six desserts. You choose one of each or can substitute a soup or salad. Everyone enjoyed their selections and no one left hungry. Hubby had the pork tenderloin, I had the special that evening Marlin and it was mouth watering. Their twice cooked French fries with sauce were everyone's favorite.
If you need a destination with dinner waiting, try Cuve'e.
