We walked by this restaurant on a trip to Carlton, checked out the menu, and decided to go back. Are we glad we did! Everything was excellent. I had the beef bourguignon and my husband had Coquette St. Jacques, neither of which you see on a menu very often and they were both great.
Wait staff was attentive. Wine list very good. A great find, and very surprising restaurant for such a small town.

Loved the atmosphere, food and host. A great choice for an intimate dinner for two or a group of 10.

This place was charming in every way. You might not be happy if you're seeking cutting-edge cuisine and style -- aka noisy, frantic, hip/cool, and heavy on the molecular and sous vide--but we find this "old style" French restaurant to be perfect. Quiet enough for conversation, absolutely charming and attentive staff, and a menu that pleased both we retirees and our college-age daughter. Food was superb, wine offerings were lovely while affordable [this is the heart of Oregon wine country!) -- in short, I can't say anything negative about this place. Even the french fries [starter offering, that our daughter chose] were something special!

Lovely, small restaurant but lively conversations so that one doesn't feel like everyone can overhear your conversation. Our group of 5 had a fun evening on our first time to Cuvee after an afternoon of wine-tasting. Our two appetizers were more than ample for the four of us, and delicious, oysters and mousse pate. Squash soup was thinner than I was expecting but had good flavor. Salads were adequate. The beef bourguinon was excellent and filling. The seafood of the day, coho salmon, was very good, but the red lentils were undercooked. Rib entree was good but a small serving for a male. Flourless chocolate/carmel torte was very, very good. Nice wine selection. Our service was excellent and we enjoyed the light-hearted banter with the owner. I should mention that our reservation was at 5:30 so if one dines later when the restaurant is full, service is probably slower. Very reasonably priced for a French restaurant.

This restaurant was highly recommended but we all were disappointed. Very small which was fine but greeting was very slow and we stood there really close to the other diners for to long. Staff very detached but we decided just way to busy to be much else.
Would make different choice next time.
