The hotel is beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Ate breakfast at the restaurant, the food was excellent as was the service. The river view, waterfall and the grounds are wonderful - the holiday lights are a nice special touch.

When we arrived, the lobby was full of people enjoying themselves and mingling. We missed last call for food by 20 minutes, but they still took our order! Our room was very charming and facing east to the morning sun. Beautiful trails around the hotel.

STUNNING location, STUNNING views, and very friendly staff. Bed/sheet/pillow very comfy. I love that they are dog friendly, but then you can't bring dog anywhere to eat with you or drink with you, so it's a little hard to enjoy the amazing lounge/restaurant. Otherwise, a perfect stay in a vintage historic gem in one of the most beautiful places on Earth

I had a spectacular time at the Columbia Gorge Hotel. It's got old world charm, panoramic beautiful views and fantastic accommodations. Donna greet us with confidence, we knew we were in good hands. She was kind, articulate and helpful in all the right ways. I will definitely come back to enjoy the beauty of the hotel and the great town of Hood River!

I love a historic hotel. Complete with spa and full restaurant, this hotels offers beautiful views from the cliffs of the gorge and beautiful grounds around the hotel. Not all rooms offer this view so check carefully when booking. The beds are comfortable and the hotel clean. I particularly enjoy the historic items and notes around the hotel and wish there were even more.
