On our way to Bend we needed some lunch and after checking reviews chose Rio of Madras. It was a great choice. the staff were warm and so welcoming and very attentive to detail. Chips and a great salsa were served immediately. Twice we were asked if we wanted guacamole, so finally said sure. What a treat. The guac was prepared table side, so definitely fresh with several ingredients besides the avacado-tomatoes, onions, cilantro, mangos and several spices. Yum! Very good indeed. It was a large portion we were sure we could not finish, but it was so tasty we managed! We ordered a beef enchilada and fish tacos. Both were very good, and the rice was excellent too. The portions were nice sized, especially the fish on the tacos-two very good sized pieces. The friendly staff made this a fun place to visit!
