Four of us had 4 different dishes. All were good but not considered great or something I would rush back. Our server was very gracious and helpful. Really enjoyed the warm blackberry pie.

Our hotel recommened this place for fish and chips. Simple spot, but food was good and fresh and the service was excellent.

Looked like a fast food restaurant that the locals frequent. Place wasn't nothing to look at but we had a great waitress. Not a place my husband and I would pick. The gift shop people at Shore Acres said it was the place to go. We were with my husband, sister and her husband. Just OK.

You can satisfy your seafood yearnings in this picturesque part of southwestern Oregon. It has more fish restaurants than one can

Captain's Choice Family Fish House
offers pleasant, homespun ambiance,
friendly service and delicious seafood.
In a region filled with fine but not fancy food options, Blue Heron, Shark Bites and Fisherman's Grotto all serve tasty fare. But it was Captain's Choice we liked best for its superb fish and chips. We went twice in just a few days' stay. The chowder really is delicious and we hear raves for the oyster stew. We opted for just the plain cod but halibut is also available for the fish and chips.

What we appreciated
about this pretty, quietly busy
part of Oregon and the restaurant itself was the "laid back" feeling. It's not a quick meal, so be prepared to linger and enjoy.
Meat eaters won't go hungry as there are burgers which looked tasty, and meatloaf, which regulars recommend. Vegan and vegetarian fans can ask for a salad or pasta without the chicken or seafood.

8 of us gathered for dinner. They have plenty of seafood to offer, the thin I like the the most is that they offer many of the fish dishes breaded, baked, lightly breaded, baked. Most places just deep fry but they offer more choices of preparation here.
