Walking in, the huge picture window framing the view of dramatic storm surf, sea stacks and sandy beach were captivating. One of the best views from a room we have booked on the OR coast. A cozy room with very comfortable king bed, nice furnishings, real hardwood floors and vaulted ceiling. Nice separate bathroom with large Jacuzzi tub, shower head and fluffy towels.
With only 5 units, the Inn appeals to peace seeking couples as the rooms are designed as such. There are no hallways to race down or doors to slam. Windows cannot be opened yet we clearly heard the heavy storm surf at this time of year. The large windows have nice pull down shades for sleeping in if desired. We were treated to a truly spectacular sunset that evening from our penthouse-like room.
Not here for connectivity, we oddly had cell phone service in a town with reception difficulties and the channel lineup on TV was surprisingly expansive. Many Choice chain hotels don’t offer this selection!
Parking is a little tight on road above and behind inn where luggage is unloaded, but once parked we never had to move. Additional parking below is available. Street level coffee bar was not open. We will visit this lovely, serene place again. One leaves refreshed. Great value in every way.
