My wife and I decided to try and new 'to us' Thai place for take-out this week - we had driven through their parking lot by chance a few days prior, so this place stood out and we decided to try it.
My wife ordered Drunken Noodles (w/ tofu - med heat), I ordered Pad Thai (w/ chicken - med/hot heat), and our daughter ordered the House Special Fried Rice (w/ chicken).
I thought my Pad Thai flavor was spot on to many of my favorite Thai places up north in Portland, however, unlike many of those, Tup Tim doesn't adhere to the heat scale we've come to expect from Thai food. Neither of my wife or my dishes seemed to have any of the heat we'd expect. I even added chili flakes to mine when I got home.
Again, I thought the flavor of the food was great, just lacked any heat. We've both decided we'll try it again, but this time we'll eat there, where we might get a better idea if there's a scale of heat to order from.
As for the restaurant itself, I thought it was nice, quaint, clean, and tastefully decorated. There's a fair amount of tables and elbow room for a relatively small restaurant, but certainly, enough to enjoy a good meal.

Five of us met and shared a wonderful meal of Thai food. The service was spot on and the food was awesome. So we're the leftovers!

Everything was great.

I fully recommend this place.

With friendly, attentive and efficient service, this quiet little restaurant is a real bargain. The salad rolls were beautiful and tasty, as was the Cashew Nut Chicken. The green curry with beef was nice but not bursting with flavor, or I would have given an "Excellent" rating to Tup Tim. Loved the Thai Ice Tea which is often too sweet --- this was just right and beautifully served. We enjoyed an Inexpensive dinner with personal touches from the owner and waitress.

My husband & I used to have a favorite dish at a local Asian restaurant, but after moving away from said restaurant we had yet to find a replacement for the delicious dish...until we came to Tup Tim! I had the Red Curry & it was exactly like the dish from the previous restaurant. I got it with chicken & ordered it "medium", which had a nice kick. If you don't like hot, I would keep things mild! My husband ordered the mango curry, which was also delicious! While the strip mall location is a little odd, the food is outstanding! We will be back!!

I'm spoiled. There's an incredible Thai place near my office. But that doesn't stop me from trying Thai anywhere else. I can't say anything was fantastic, and I can't say anything was ehh. Well, except for the chicken satay. It was dry.
