Terrible tasting water, either that or the ice is bad tasting if the water is filtered. Faucet in bathroom pools water all over the counter. Nice and quiet, slept well. Breakfast offering could be better for the price you pay to stay there. BW does much better.
Holiday Inn Xpress is consistent with cleanliness and comfort at all of our stays. We are always upset when communities we choosevdo not gave a Holiday Inn x to choose for our stay. The Dalles Inn was no exception.

Well maintained hotel, great staff! We used the meeting room, 3 times in a row and very easy to book. It's nice to know what we can expect, excellence every time! Our staff had also reserved a room each time, it was clean and comfortable. Stay here!
Extremely clean, which was much appreciated. Am apprehensive about staying places not know to me as one never knows if there are bugs present since they seem to be everywhere. Turned out it was wonderful. I was worrying unnecessarily. Staff were polite and beds quite comfortable.
We were on a 2 week trip out west. This homeless in a great location in The Dalles. Close to restaurants and sites to see. Breakfast was great and the attendant was friendly and very conscientious out her job. She didn’t even act like it was a job. We would stay here again.
