Very reasonable price, clean and up to date TV, microwave, toaster oven combo coffee maker. Nice shower, comfortable bed, AC/heat all at low end cost. Walk from here to old historic downtown, Burgerville one block away, craft brews 2 blocks or craft brewery 7 blocks. And the National Neon Sign Museum has just opened with an amazing historical collection and educational displays of American illuminated signage from the beginnings. From the the outside, I may have kept driving. However, room was great, updated,clean, comfortable bed. One of the best rooms we have stayed in on our week long journey across the states. The couple working at that motel was super sweet and helpful. You should stay here, well worth the price.

Spent one night here during Christmas when visiting Columbia Gorge and Hood River. Ok for one night, somewhat clean, friendly staff, central location. Close to local state parks and wineries. Next time probably stay in Hood River, much better location and close to more restaurants.
We booked the room on the internet from the parking lot...we should have asked to see the room first! The room had recently been repainted so the walls were clean...and bare however the carpet was dirty and looked as though it had never seen an edge tool. It also smelled so bad that my wife bought an air freshener and carried it with her in the room. There was a fridge and microwave but no coffeemaker, no clock and NO CHAIRS!
It was very noisy with road noise and a very squeaky bed upstairs and the ability to hear entire conversations in other rooms. Don't recommend this motel under any circumstances.
Potentially an ok motel, but the cleaning staff is definitely lacking competence. One of the beds was made with dirty sheets -- there were weird looking stain on them from what looked like blood and other bodily fluids. Towels were small and their freshness was questionabl as well. For $80 this was a complete ripoff.
