“best beaches in the world”
Reviewed 29 March 2012

and hey, I've seen some beaches. I just loved the ease of getting there, the friendly attitude of the Oregon Parks Service - pay once per day - and the incredibly scenery. Hope you guys can stay clear of "development" and "progress"'.

I have been here many times to stay and just pass through. The Oregon coast is so beautiful.

“Once of the Most Wonderful Panoramic Views of the Coast”
Reviewed 21 March 2012

This area has it all, especially for the novice exploring the Oregon Coast for the first time. It has hiking trails of every possible level, it has tidepools to fascinate, it has tidal action in the crevices of Devil's Churn, it has history in the projects of the WWII groups that built the lookouts for enemies, it has the longest distance view you can find on the Oregon Coast (from the top of Cape Perpetua all the way down to Cape Blanco on a fair day), it has an interpretive center with films, artifacts and history, and educational materials, it has decks to whale watch. It also has camping and many side roads. I don't go here much anymore as I am a local and don't feel it is right I should be charged to park my car in the parking lots.

“Love Oregon Coast”
Reviewed 18 March 2012

Oregon coast is always spectacular in any season. Visits close to storms produce the most powerful wave action.
