Who doesn't love bacon? Bakn is not for vegans but for those who live the lyrics "I like pig butts, and I cannot lie." We went for brunch with a party of 10 and had to wait an hour to be seated, as we expected because Bakn is not a large establishment. The breakfast items were excellent: fluffy omelets, a delicious flight of bacon, and quite possibly the best pancakes I have ever eaten. I sampled a bite of everyone's food. The Bakn Cakes (scaled down version of the Bakn Quake seen on Ginormous Food) were very good and enough for two. The shrimp and grits, braised short ribs, and pork belly corn cakes were okay. The flatbread was not impressive. I would visit again, but stick to ordering breakfast as those items were excellent.
