This is certainly an above average establishment with exceptional service. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the food - in fact the freshness and quality of the ingredients was very clear.

At $35 - $38 Prix Fixe per person for a 3-course meal, this is an excellent deal. BYOB makes it an even better deal.

Loved the very unique take on the escargot with spinach and tomatoes. Very non-traditional but very good too...A little more garlic would have made it the best escargot I have had on 3 different continents.

I had the seared Tuna. Clean and fresh but lacking anything more than a very mild seasoning. Asparagus was cooked to perfection. Rissotto was very good too.

My wife had the Rack of Lamb with green beans. Both cooked to perfection but there was little to no sauce or au-jus in the place making the meal a little bit on the dry side.

Chocolate cake was also slightly on the dry side but good nevertheless.

The ambiance can certainly be classified as lively to noisy but there are no pretenses about this before or during your meal. Not the best place for a date but definitely acceptable if you are not looking for a quite romantic meal!

This cafe-style restaurant has been a favorite for years. 3 course dependable price fix with a somewhat interesting menu. No table clothes and casual atmosphere with a combo of low and high top tables. The two wait staff, including at this recent outing, are efficient and extremely pleasant. To get to the point, the food was just off, and that is being kind. Salads and appetizer were fine. Sea bass special was dry, tasteless, and uninspiring. The pork chop was so fatty, it had to go back. No attitude! The server suggested the tuna because it was the fastest. The turnaround time was reasonable, but the "rare" tuna was way overcooked and bland. Our friend's sliced duck was reported as good but fattier than usual. All the desserts were delicious, to give credit where credit is due. The wine was wonderful. Oh, yeh! I brought the bottle. FSG is a BYO.

FSG has great food and equally good service! Yet when looking for restaurant in Conshohocken, we seem to take them for granted. In the dozen or more times we have dined there, we have never been disappointed. Reasonable BYO price fix restaurants are hard to find in the area.

The atmosphere was nice in this small BYOB restaurant in Conshohoken and the service was reasonably fast and very friendly, nearly family style. The menu was three courses "prix fixe". I had a tasty salad as a starter and they were nice enough to replace the blue cheese (not a fan) with Feta. The duck was a little disappointing though, slightly chewy with the skin not crisp but more of a soft texture. It was by no means bad but not quite what I had hoped for. A little pricy maybe in the end but not overly so. Would come again but pick something else from the menu.
