Phi is a welcomed addition to the Doylestown food scene. Inside Phi, the physical restaurant setting is modern and minimalist, despite the exterior strip mall location. The food is fresh and healthy.....a desirable profile when compared to alternative Asian fare in the area. Summer rolls and hot pots are very good......and of course, there is always the traditional "pho". Bottom line.....not the most inventive take on Vietnamese, but offering fresh and tasty standard fare at good prices. BYOB too.

Excellent Vietnamese food. Good accommodations for couples as well as large groups, one of our visits we had fourteen people ranging in age from one to seventy two years of age.

This is great if you are looking to try something different. The vegetarian pho is SO GOOD, even if you are a meat eater. The service is great. We love our favorite server, Cole!

My wife and I are huge fans of pho - we've had it all over the country (NY, DC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Cleveland, Northern Jersey and many others (North Wales and Newtown locally) so we were excited when a friend told us that a really good Vietnamese restaurant opened in Doylestown. We gave it a try tonight, and my only regret is that they've been open a year and we only found out about it this week.

We started with the summer rolls with grilled chicken - very large rolls filled with lettuce, mint leaves, bean sprouts and chicken in a cellophane noodle wrapper and served with peanut sauce - very good.

My wife doesn't eat beef, so she ordered the Pho Ga (chicken). The menu says that they only have two Pho broths - beef and vegetable (made with jicama and mushrooms). Since they didn't have the chicken broth, they were nice enough to bring us a taste of the vegetable broth - and we were extremely impressed with the deep, rich flavor of the broth. She likes a lot of vegetables in her Pho, so she ordered the vegetable Pho with chicken added, and it was excellent - loaded with julienned vegetables including carrots, celery, asparagus, broccoli, and snow peas.

I like beef, so I ordered the special Pho with beef, brisket, beef meatballs - and had them hold the tripe and tendons (which they replaced with extra of the other meats). Like the vegetable Pho, the broth was very rich and deeply flavored.

Naturally, they came with plenty of rice vermicelli noodles in the bowl, and a side of basil, bean sprouts, jalapeno slices, and lime wedges.

The decor is very casual, and all the servers were very friendly and service was attentive without being intrusive.

Altogether the meal was $32 without tip - and the portions were very substantial.

I will definitely be back (probably a lot)!

We were having a craving for Pho so we found this place. We approached it with some trepidation because our area is not known for great Asian food. We ordered the summer roll and spring roll. Both were good but not knock your socks off. They both tasted like they were not very fresh. The phos were very average. The broth was good but the meats within were terrible. We had chicken and round of eye. In both cases the meats were some kind of pressed meat and not fresh. The two soups were below average.
