Stayed here twice in a week while traveling through the states. First time, no problems. Arrived, heat was blasting but other than that it was just a $60 hotel. No bugs as far as I can tell.

The real issue lies in the rude staff, particularly one older member of the team who can no longer read credit card numbers and wants to make that YOUR problem. Thankfully I had cash or I'd be roomless, after he argued with me about my card declining (which it didn't... he charged me fine 5 seconds later) and was overall disrespectful.

Don't waste your time unless you get someone else at the desk.

I don't know who gave this place an okay rating, but I wonder if he/they even looked at the place. They certainly didn't look at the room we stayed in. Everything needs cleaned & replaced. All wooden furniture needs replacement...it's gouged, scratched & the chairs are not sturdy. The sink & bath tub are cracked, leaking & stained. There are no safety bars in the tub area. Clothes hangers were bent & missing clips for pants. A bug scampered across the bench as we put our suitcases down. The requested wake up call did not occur. Outside to access the steps to the 2nd floor we had to cross wet grass & walk through water puddles. We arrive at dark and the area was not well lit.

Staff was aware there was no heat and didn't think to mention that fact even though temp dropped to 32 degrees that night. In fact we were only told about heat not working when I called at 6:30 p.m. to report no heat.
