Price range: US$5 - US$15
Description: Agia Sophia Coffeehouse and Bookstore downtown Harrisburg is a peaceful retreat playing religious music, displaying Christian icons and serving fresh coffee (from brew pots and espresso machine) along with ancient wisdom (found in our books). A great coffee shop and all proceeds go to charity. Run by a group of local orthodox churches, the soups are amazing. I eat there 2-3 times a week.

Great little coffee shop. Reasonably priced. My kids really liked the muffins, and my coffee was great. Try the Kenyan coffee if they still have it. Perfecto!

I look forward to going to Agia Sophia when I stay at the Hilton Downtown. It has charming character and good coffee. I usually pick up a quiche for breakfast and sometimes a spanakopita for lunch. The servers are always in good moods. Each month, they feature a different charity. I've have met colleagues for breakfast in their reading room and I imagine it would be a nice way to pass the afternoon with a good book.
