Nice place to just kick back and relax. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains. If you don't have a GPS and have never been in this area you'll never locate the place- it's worth finding though

If you like way out of the way High Nob is for you. We arrived on a dark, foggy, rainy night in January. I'm sure the scenery is a lot more pleasant in the warmer months. The beer was cold and they had quite a selection of wings which were of good size and tasty. One of our gang had a cheese steak which was good and quite sizeable. We also had onion rings which were good. Our server was Lena and she was very sociable. All in all, will definitely return but when it's warmer.

Do not get discouraged by the outward appearance of this place. Inside looks just like a tavern in Wisconsin from the 1940's. The food is excellent! Not cheap but you get lots to eat and many choices from crab legs, steaks, or excellent cheese steak sandwiches.
Service was top shelf. Food is very good.
We ordered and had drinks. Then a storm blew up. We had dinner, watched the big screen TV and waited out the storm.
This place is very unique in a good way. Old and funky with great food.
