I absolutely love this place! My daughter loves to go here after softball games and it is always busy! Although I do wish the teenage staff was a little more friendly.

We found this spot while staying overnight near exit 80 of the interstate. It was just right for a warm late evening ice cream run. The waffle corn was only $1 extra and it was tasty and crispy. This place serves commercial ice cream from Turkey Hill and Hershey. They did not have any they had made themselves. We tried the special soft serve where they add flavor (we added teaberry). The soft serve had that foamy artificial texture that more and more soft serve places have now. I don't know if this is the added flavor or if the chocolate and vanilla had the same texture. It is good, not great ice cream stand.

This spot is very family friendly and features a wide variety of flavors. It also has a small play area, which is great for the kids to enjoy and burn off extra energy. It is less busy and congested than other ice cream spots and is easy to access.

Stopped here for a mid-afternoon treat and was pleasantly surprised by all the flavours of ice cream available.... both hard ice cream and soft-serve. The server was full of information and the serving sizes were generous. Lots to look at on the walls of this local establishment and it was really kid friendly (monkey theme, small play structure outside and tables at the front). All of us were pleased with our choices.

We visited the Antique Auto Museum and noticed the King Kone across the street. It did not look open, but we drove through the parking lot anyway. We realized that they were now on their fall hours and were not open on Mondays. As we started to pull out of the parking lot, a gentlemen came out to our car from the ice cream shop. He explained that they had just shifted to the fall hours and could only offer us hard packed ice cream. That was perfect! That was service that you don't often see. He took us inside the shop and let us choose our flavor. It was Chocolate Chaos! IT was wonderful! The service that he offered was above and beyond. I can't speak about the soft serve ice cream, but the inside of the shop was nice and seemed to have a lot of space.
