Stayed here with 3 friends on the Indulgence Break through classic british hotels website and was not disappointed. Didn't read reviews so went in blind and no expectations.
Was looked after from the second we arrived. Room was cosy but clean, robes waiting for us and complementary slippers too. Headed off to the bistro in the spa for some lunch.
Lunch was lovely and then relaxed in the spa. The evening meal was one of the best fillet steaks I've had complete with "jenga" chips and fresh veggies. Too stuffed to finish the pudding.
Breakfast was not as good as the evening meal and perhaps making fresh would've solved the drying up of items but I asked for fresh eggs and within a minute they were there. Still ate plenty and names cereal brands and a decent toaster was there to use and fresh tea and coffee.
All in all me and my 3 friends had a great time and couldn't believe the cost for the quality and service we received.
Thanks for a great stay to all the staff....we will be back!More
