Good base as easy to find things to do and visit some lovely villages and Looe. The club house was OK for an evening drink, entertaining the teenagers with pool and darts and the entertainment was fun, we didn't get chance to eat but the food looked nice. Was disappointed with the cleanliness of the ladies toilets, there was thick dust on top of the toilet and the back of the seat looked like it hadn't been cleaned for sometime. Our lodge was OK apart from the sliding door coming right off and we did inform reception but one lady wasn't that bothered but when mentioned to another lady she said she would inform the owner. The lodge cleaners obviously only give it a quick clean as there was alot of dust on the stair banister and some lovely big cobwebs. There was a bit of confusion about checking in as our paperwork said 3pm but reception told us it was 4pm. On our day of departure it said 10am checkout but the cleaners were on the doorstep at 9am trying to rush us to get out and came back a 2nd time about 15 mins later making us feel pressured to get out, I understand they need to get ready for the new arrivals but harassing people to leave at 9am after having a nice relaxing holiday was abit much, good job I didn't have small children to get organised.
