Although we went in October, the beach here is really stunning and picturesque and not to be missed. And don’t forget to check out the nearby medieval church. It was open when we went so try your luck

Also, if you love dogs, don’t forget to check out the touching little bucket that was once held balls for people to use with their pup at the beach. It was put there by a loving family in memory of their dog who used to love the beach.

This peaceful little church stands next to a beautiful cove with the sea brushing past. It’s open for visitors and you can light a candle and request a blessing . Such a tranquil setting and a pretty church full of warmth and love . So well looked after and you must visit this wonderful little church before you explore the cove.

As I continued my day tour of national trust properties near the Lizard peninsula I came across Gunwalloe Cove. Rugged beauty again & this coastline just kept surprising me.

My second visit to Gunwalloe Church Cove Beach, beautiful scenery. Clean beach and lovely St Winwaloe Church, such a holy and special place to reflect and pray.

We visited on a cloudy windy day and it was truly exhilarating. The beach was great with lively waves crashing down. We also battled the winds to walk up the coast path to look back at Church cove
