I visited Gunwalloe with my wife and children. After a long day of walking we were tired and in need of refreshments but the chap at the kiosk was clearly closing up for the day. We asked him if we could have some tea and some ice cream and he couldn’t do enough for us. The food and drinks were excellent but what made our visit was his friendly, chatty attitude. Thank you.

Such a lovely beach. Sat nav will take you past Poldhu and up a hill. You then have to walk down but if you go to Gunwalloe Church Cove (not just church cove as this is somewhere different) then there is a National Trust car park. A cafe and toilets then a short flat walk to the beach. Lovely and clean, lots of space. Sadly due to the weather the water was closed but the life guards were lovely in explaining where would be good to go if anyone wanted to swim in the sea. X x x

A beautiful quiet spot well served by a National Trust car park(free for members) and a small National Trust food kiosk. Good toilets and beautiful walks. We walked along the coastal path to Poldhu and enjoyed watching the surfers whilst drinking a beer from the beach cafe.
