We stayed in a garden room with our puppy and we couldn’t fault the hotel. Large space, dog bed, blanket and bowls provided, massive bed, sliding double doors onto a green space (very convenient with a puppy!), big bathroom and a perfect temperature (we were there during the heatwave and were very worried about the dog getting hot!)
The hotel has a beautiful decor and even though dogs aren’t allowed in the restaurant, you can eat together in the bar and lounge - and are made to feel very welcome to do so. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. The pool and spa is lovely and easy to use.
There isn’t much to do in Redruth, but it is a perfect base for going further west/south on day trips.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I felt that my food allergies could have been better managed - the staff were great but the food available was limited. I informed the hotel upon booking and the reception reconfirmed that the restaurant had been informed of my allergies in advance. However, this is a minor thing and it wouldn’t stop us from staying there again!More
