Description: From browsing the arts and crafts shops and museum to exploring the stunning surrounding countryside and beautiful beaches, visitors to the pretty seaside village of St Agnes will find plenty to do - and, after discovering all the local area has to offer, will no doubt be in need of sustenance. Cue The Peterville Inn, a friendly local inn offering quality real ales, home-cooked food and the best in traditional hospitality, as well as regular live music and free pool on Tuesdays and Sundays. Everything on the menu is made on site using the best Cornish ingredients. Perhaps order a Cask Marque accredited real ale to accompany a wholesome dish such as locally sourced slow roast Topside of St. Agnes Beef, Succulent Beef and Guinness Pie or oven baked Fillet of Chicken. Diners will also find well-considered veggie dishes, such as Baked Sweet Potato, with savoury stuffing and a crisp breadcrumb crust, and a variety of specials. Well-appointed, dog friendly accommodation is available for those who want to enjoy the comfy environs of The Peterville a little longer.

Very disappointed, looked nice from the outside but it smelt stale inside, nice landlord but no atmosphere, in inviting and strange layout, not comfortable, finished off our drink outside, didn't go back.

Had a few beers of an evening during our stay as this was the nearest to us (50 steps from our holiday accommodation) and can say it was a nice friendly pub with chatty locals to speak with and some good beers on tap served by friendly staff. I would recommend anybody to pop in and have a pint. Can't vouch for the meals but those we saw looked good and typical pub type food. You can have a good sit down and chat with your friends without any excessive noise. Thanks for the beers!

We ate here twice in a week-once of the main menu and once off the Sunday menu. Both were good, honest pub meals with decent portions and not too much unnecessary fancy touches.
Good service and the staff were attentive. Dining room at the back and family friendly bar with pool table at the front.
Worth a visit.

The food was good, let down by the service which was disjointed and amateur, first choice for both of us was not available but it took a good five minutes to find that out after ordering. The overall ambience was quite good although the language from the bar sometimes left a lot to be desired, especially as there were children on the premises.

Great place to stop, we were in early afternoon and only stopped for a drink, the landlord was great as were the few locals that were in. The place is very clean and the food sounded good, will eat next time.
