A curious smell pervaded the bar and throughout the bits of the pub we saw - possibly a cleaning product, but unpleasant enough to drive us outside.
The barman was seemingly affronted by the fact that we only had a couple of 1/2s, but he didn't have a full range of pumps working either...
The toilets were very clean and modern and clearly the place has had some serious renovation work done, which looks great. But there was zero atmosphere and it seems to be a self-perpetuating situation (people came in and left again while we were there). Very loud pop music was blaring, the back room was in darkness and the tables outside and out front offer nothing but road - some planting would be of real benefit.

We visited this establishment on Saturday evening as it re-opened on Friday after being closed for a month. We received a warm welcome from the Landlord. The surroundings were clean and comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. We also decided to eat there, the food was very nice all cooked from stratch and because that was the case we were able to make changes from the menu. The young lad serving was very polite and keen to learn and do what he could to help, if he was my son I would be proud of him!

Overall very enjoyable evening, highly recommended.

The pub has just be renovated, it is still quaint but with modern aspects. The landlord seemed very pleasant and said if I needed dairy free food, to phone in advance an they would very happily adapt to food to suit. Also they do a vegan day once a week, which would suit dairy free diets. I look forward to returning for a meal.

Very disappointed, looked nice from the outside but it smelt stale inside, nice landlord but no atmosphere, in inviting and strange layout, not comfortable, finished off our drink outside, didn't go back.
