One half of the campsite has beautiful large pitches in the meadow area, which is lovely. The other half of the campsite (where we were with our campervan) had narrow hardstanding pitches that were (in my opinion) too close and the site felt cramped. Our neighbour's awning was only two metres from our pitch, and the guy rope were a lot closer.
The facilities block was well maintained and cleaned regularly. Reception and other areas were closed due to Covid regulations, but the owners were on site and very helpful with information on the local area.
The site is next to a busy road which is noisy during the day, but quiet at night. The Pentewan Valley Trail runs alongside the site which is an easy walk to The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Mevagissey.More
