We stayed in cabin 10 (from memory) over the last weekend of June on the special winter rate. Terrific outloook to the ocean, lighthouse if you look left off your balcony and some of Kendalls Beach to the right. Cozy, very clean and quite roomy cabin with a lovely gas fireplace which we really appreciated. Public path along the front but that did not overly impact on our enjoyment of the cabin. Big bathroom, also very clean. Kitchen great size and well kitted out for a cabin.
Very friendly service and I appreciated the call on Friday evening to confirm our arrival as we were still on our way and had assumed that the office would be open an hour later than the planned closing time. Check in was cheerful and friendly. We appreciated the late check out too. 15 mins walk along the coastline to the blowhole or town.
We will definitely stay again.
We have had caravans in the past and I agree that quite a few of these sites would be tricky with a reasonable size van, although I saw some big ones in there.

Room Tip: A variety of combinations here, and the office staff are very willing to help you choose one to suit your needs

Although this park is right on the ocean there are no caravan sites with sea views, the cabins have all the good views. The sites with concrete slabs will not accommodate larger vans and even the grass ones do not have a lot of room. Managers/owners are very friendly and helpful and amenities are clean. Kiama itself is an extremely hilly town which makes walking anywhere quite a task.

Room Tip: Cabins have good views but not caravan sites

This place is amazing! Beautiful cabins with stunning views. Short walk into town. Defenetly would recommend staying here. Lovely people and affordable accommodation. Could see the beach/water from our cabin.

This is a Kiama Council owned facility. Great location, walking track into town and 15min walk to the Kiama blowhole.

Says no pets but saw at least 2 dogs staying in the park and one was howling because it was left in a caravan while owners went out.

Operations of park is pretty lapse. Management was chaotic with computers down, Boom gates up for 5 days inoperable, no WiFi available, booking system down due to an (NBN) glitch.

Lots of tea, coffee and sugar - just no pods of milk.

Price was pretty high for a cabin in winter (over $350/night) with a mere glimpse of ocean.

Cabins were nicely appointed and spacious, some with spa baths, although in need of repairs: broken toilet seats, knobs missing off fans, globes missing or blown, holes in walls, dirty marks on walls. Luxurious all the same.

Kids everywhere (non school holidays). Possibly due to position of cabin kids would continually use our unit bins when a waste drop-off was only 20 metres away. Kids kicking a football around in such a confined living area and around cars also got the heart racing a bit.

Car parking is a challenge parking on nature strip adjacent to cabin; with roads very narrow and caravans and trailers trying to manoeuvre around tight corners.

Fox channel including Movie Link was great. TVs in bedrooms was also great. Gas-fireplace was a nice feature for Winter.

The Kiama council have five beachside parks in the area.

We've just returned from a week at Surf Beach Holiday Park, Kiama. We stayed in two different cabins over this time - cabin 13 (two nights), and cabin 14 (five nights). Both cabins have direct ocean frontages, with 14 also having a view towards Surf Beach. The location of this place would be very hard to beat: superb coastal views, a few hundred metres to the Blowhole, Kiama township and the railway station, and about a million cafes. The cabins themselves are clean and comfortable, with good beds, decent linen and towels, proper showers and with well-equipped kitchens and a washing machine and dryer. Both these cabins have spa baths. Heating is by reverse-cycle aircon plus a gas log fire, although cabin 14's one wasn't working during our stay. There is an electric bbq on the verandah of each cabin which worked reasonably well. Cabin 14, known as the Penguin Palace, is the poshest on the site - two good-sized bedrooms, spacious living area, and superb views in all directions. For our stay, we took advantage of the winter special offer: total cost: $1080. We felt this really was excellent value for money. As it was Mothers' Day while we were there, our family all came to join us. Some stayed in the Palace with us, and one daughter and her family had cabin 11. The staff here are brilliant : nothing is too much trouble, and they go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable. Thank you so much Tony, Leonie and Belinda. Kiama itself offers heaps of attractions: we did the beautiful 22km Coast Walk in three stages, walked everywhere in town and sampled the coffee and dining out (try Stone Wall, Penny Whistlers and go to Hanoi on Manning for dinner). Short trips that are lovely are to Saddleback Mountain for the views, Jamberoo and Gerringong/Gerroa, and Berry. We've already booked a return visit in a few weeks. Oh, and Kiama turned on a week of perfectly beautiful autumn weather for our stay.
