We oredered pizza and pasta takeaway. The margharita and garlic cheese pizza's were both relatively flavorsome, luke warm but overall quite tasty with a thin base and nicely cooked. The real deal breaker was the Carbonara pasta. It was nothing short of pasta served in watered down skim milk, also luke warm, extremely runny, no hint of any added herbs or flavours of any kind, described by our guest as quite possibly the worse pasta known to man. Missed the mark there Duci's.
It's good Friday, we drove from Sydney to Melbourne but stopped at Merimbula for overnight. Me and my partner decided to visit this restaurant based on the reviews.
we ordered our food and sat down and waited for 25mins, so we asked the waiter JESSIE as to how long our food would take? He went to the kitchen and came back in a cranky mood telling my us that "YOU HAVE ONLY WAITED FOR 25 MINS AND WE ARE BUSY TONIGHT" and walked off. That's not good, he was rude. You could have at least been polite and said it shouldn't be much longer rather than so disrespectful telling customers off.
McDonalds service could be much better then this .
We can't really comment on the dining-in option as we only did take away pizzas. Pizzas & garlic bread were nice. Not bad but nothing extremely special. Got the pizza deal which made it inexpensive. Service was friendly and prompt.
Filled us up. More 'Australian-ised' pizza than boutique. Both pizzas were tasty enough, nothing really wrong with them, but made to a formula. We're probably spoiled, as we're so used to really thin crusted boutique pizzas versus the older formula.
If you're after a pizza or a bowl of pasta I don't think you'd go wrong, you just won't remember what it was like in 6 months. If I could have given it a 3 1/2 I would have.
