Lovely location, plus some fine place to eat at and enjoy. Can book tours from the area. Restaurant, bars, takeaways and ice cream parlours, so something for every age and budget

Nice views, relaxing atmosphere and activities for kids (playground, bouncing castle, giant chess). However, food was not so great and surprisingly a small food bar opposite ice creamery turned out to have the best food. Gets romantic in the evening.

Nice place to visit for an ice cream, a snack or a full blown meal. There is also some shopping there and it is a short walk to the main street in Nelson Bay. Don't forget to have a look at the whale and dolphin tours - they are very good.

I think they were going for a mini Darling Harbour when they built this place - it's just way TOO big for a small coastal town. Lots of empty retail shops in the complex which is never a good sign, all mainly Restaurants and seafood outlets. This complex greatly obstructs the view of the bay from the smaller places along Government St which is sad.
