We have stayed at The Landmark twice now and we were much more impressed this visit. After our initial visit we thought the room were a bit worn but this time around we were very impressed by our room which had been recently renovated. As we walked into room 401 you could smell the newly laid carpet. The kitchen had also been updated and had a full oven and everything we needed to cook in our room. The bathroom was also noted to have had a reno. We chose not pay the extra this time and get an ocean view but we were happy with our view overlooking the tree canopy's and the tennis courts next door. The pool is a great size and temperature- the kids were able to swim when it wasn't that hot outside. The have a lovely deck area next to the pool which has ample sun loungers and views of either the ocean or the pool, a great spot to relax and read. The loungers would benefit from some cushions as they were quite hard after a while. Check in was very quick and smooth although when we checked out at 6:30am and reception was closed, there was no where to hand back the key- a drop off box would have been nice. The other small negative was they need new pillows- I think this has been forgotten in the room reno. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Went to Nelsons Bay with my 25 year old daughter. Great little market on the quay side, lots of local designed nic naks. Went out on a whale watching tour which was excellent. Running commentary of where to look for the whales, if you are unlucky not to see any you are given a voucher to return for a free tour. We paid 60 AUD each for the trip which was well worth the money. Very safe little bay for young children

Booked on Groupon for this weekend with friends, Room was at the back and to the end of the building.

Room was in need of an update. Very basic, Bathroom had a shower over th SPA, would be difficult for elderly to safely use.

Bed was good.Convient to most cafes, Golf, Bowls and Pub.

Not in a hurry to return as we have had better in Nelson Bay at the other Resorts.

Room Tip: Rooms to the front have the best views, however the rooms at the far sides have the quietest areas. King size bed was very comfortable

Good location if you like walking up hills! Basic accomodation - bed and pillows very comfy but the shower "screen" is a waste of time - nearly slipped there was so much water on the floor. Pool area very nice but unfortunately didn't get chance to use it

Stayed: September 2017, travelled as a couple
