We had the booking papers, that stated the name "Spring Resorts Shoalhaven Sports Motel" so we drove past it a couple of times. Shoalhaven Nowra Motel, or something similar is the new name. We went there and asked if they know where the hotel we booked was situated. "It's this one. We changed the name" was the answer. Why did they not tell those who had booked?

The room was an ordinary one, clean and ok. Nowhere close to have dinner. The swimming pool was good.

Stay here for one night as a last minute deal, day after Boxing days with the wife. In Summary:
Good points: Easy parking, easy place enough to find and check in. Clean room with good shower ok bed / pillow. TV / Microwave / wifi. Good view of golf course
Not so good points: Mosquitos. Loud noisy neighbours. Feels more like a caravan park. Room Door must be set to lock otherwise strangers can just walk in, no auto-lock (True story). Air-con right above bed so either freeze or boil. No fly screen on ground high glass doors, so can't leave open due to mosquitos. No cutlery except 2 knives / teaspoons, so remember to bring your own Fork / Spoons. Next to Bistro which closed at an early 8.30pm so no late dessert possible.
Overall not so flash a spot, more for die hard Golfer then anyone else.

Room tip: Second floor rooms may be quiter. Golf course facing rooms better

Terrible is an understatement! Very disappointed, this place is expensive for starters. I thought I'd like to stay somewhere nice and relaxing with my mother because we are on holiday a long way from home (Melbourne myself/ Bendigo my mum) but we got anything but! We were woken up at 7am in the morning by workmen grinding at concrete and talking at loud volumes! If there was works where there would possibly be power tools being used, I had a right to know that when making the booking! We were not even warned at check in! I mentioned to reception our disappointment and also being charged full price to be woken early! And she told us that we were discounted at check in, which I later found out that it was only approx $15, definitely does not even come close to compensating!! Just a tip Springs Resorts, If you're discounting someone, why not tell them that they were receiving a discount and tell them why??!! Rather than discounting without us even being aware! We had a right to know that this would be occurring and it should have been ensured that we were ok with there being noise and given the option to cancel and look elsewhere! Had we been notified there is no way we would have chosen to stay because being woken up early was the LAST thing we needed! We were told NOTHING!!
Not only that, we asked where we could get some fish and chips when we arrived and we were told to turn left out of the driveway, which took us up past farmland! It was a right turn out of the driveway to get to the shops! Learn your directions before giving them! Or learn left from right! We were tired and hungry from the drive, last thing we needed was to be stuffed around with directions!
Stay away from this expensive horrible place! There are nicer places with better facilities, for almost $200 you're getting a purely sleep in room! Absolute rip off!

This accomodation is immaculately kept, cant fault it. Bed a bit soft for me. Outlook great.

Staff friendly and helpful and room service, cleaning etc excellent. Would highly recommend

Well situated between Culburra beach, lovely green pastures and the quaint city of Shoalhaven
