We reserved the room about 6 weeks or more in advance for a premium room. We were greeted right away upon entering. However, have to say parking right at the hotel is limited and may have to park at the restaurant across the street where they have reserved space. We were provided a room on the 3rd floor with a King bed raised up a little higher than my wife expected! We ended up enjoying it and the mattress was very comfortable. Had a fridge; a very nice modern bath with glass door shower. The whole space was a touch small, but for two it was romantic and nicely furnished. Excellent value when considering other hotels in the area that don't have the ambiance that this place has. We took the breakfast package, where we got a simple but nice breakfast the next day at the adjoining restaurant.
I'd highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are looking for a quiet setting, interesting shops and going out antiquing.

We booked a deluxe room with a king bed and a fireplace in February..Beautiful room, decorated in the Colonial style, fridge and coffee maker hidden,Immaculately clean.Had complimentary coffee in the warm and cozy library, in the main building. I was surprised at how nice the Inn is, thought it would be more of a touristy place.Restaurants are very close(and good) too.The one minus ,no premium cable tv.Would definitely return.

Stayed here for two nights with my husband in a bi-level suite. Room was clean but very dated and definitely needs upgrading. We received a discounted rate because of the season but i couldn’t imagine charging someone $450 a night to stay here. Bed was very comfortable but the room was very basic and overall just ok. The location however is great. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants. My one complaint with our stay is that while we were out & about, housekeepers cleaned. We came back and were in our room for about an hour. We had just come back from walking around the village so we were tired and decided to take a nap. Just as we were dozing, we heard a key in the door and our housekeeper walked right in to tell us she had left a bag here. No Knock. Nothing. Just strolled in. Thank god we were only just laying in bed. I would have been mortified!!!

We checked in, got settled and began to find housekeeping issues. There were deposits of some type of fluid on the floor near the tub and along the tub surround. What appeared to be cracker crumbs on the carpet near the bed. The fireplace didn’t work. An extension cord for the coffee maker run across the floor is a trip hazard. Very disappointed. The gratuity envelope for housekeeping on the table was an ironic joke.
