Description: We are open Tuesday-Saturday serving lunch and dinner. We are closed the following national and Orthodox Christian holidays: New Years Day-January 7 Orthodox Christmas Day-Orthodox Christian Holy Week (varies in early Spring)-July 4-1st Week of August-Week of western Christmas. Please check our Facebook page and or our website for updates. We are a BYOB fast/casual restaurant with an emphasis on freshly prepared to order Greek food. You'll order at a point of sale (POS) and from there make your way to a table indoors/outdoors (depending on season). Staff will then take care of anything else you may need at the table including serving your meals. During peak hours you'll be seated by one of our staff. From there you will be served your meals at the table by one of our staff, they'll refill your drinks accordingly, provide you with your wine glasses and/or frosted beer mugs. There are no fees for bringing your own wine or beer to drink. You may order additional items from any one of our staff working the floor or you are welcome to return to the POS at your leisure to order anything else you would like. Your visit can be as "formal" or "informal" as you would like it to be.

Since driving to Astoria/Queens on a regular basis to visit our favorite Greek restaurant isn’t realistic, we are very fortunate to have Hellenic Kouzina to satisfy our cravings.

The atmosphere and layout of the dining areas are relaxing, especially with the water wall separating the sections of the dining area. During warm weather sit outside on the patio, which has ample tables and umbrellas. When arriving at HK you place your order at the counter, pay, pick up your drinks (non-alcoholic), and are given a “tracker” to take to your seat. Your meal is then delivered to your seat.

The food at HK is very good. We usually visit at lunch time, so we have not sampled the meals/entrée section of menu, instead focusing on the Gyros, salads, and sides. The signature gyro (pork) is very good and served on a warm pita with tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, and red onions. Traditional and chicken gyros also are on the menu along with chargrilled hamburgers. We also enjoy sampling the different spreads they offer, served with warm pita triangles. Our favorite is the Tirokaftéri-combination of feta, olive oil, lemon juice, and pepperocini for a little heat.

Do not miss dessert!!! They have a variety of selections including baklava, Chocolate baklava cheesecake, and our favorite- Baklava Ice cream, where they mix in extra chopped baklava!!

HK provides a good outlet for those craving Greek food in central PA and those who have never experienced this type of cuisine!

We arrived and gave our order at the counter, were shown to a table, the dining room is crisp and clean and has a very soothing "wall of water" down the center. Shortly were served with the most delectable Greek food. We had ordered an assortment of appetizers: Taramasalata, Tatziki, lamb souvlaki, and Athenian sweet potato fries. The first three came with the freshest pita ever. The sweet potato fries were a perfect blend of sweet, salty and cinnamon.!!! The all the food was spiced to perfection, not too little or too much. I will DEFINITELY be returning to sample a wider variety of offerings.

A group of us visited and had a variety of dishes. Prices are moderate. The salad that came with the dinner was delicious and we would eagerly get it again. The Moussaka was OK and we may try it again. Two of us in the group got the Chicken Souvlaki and would not get it again. It had little flavor and was too dry. The rice that came with it was very good. There is a variety of dishes to try. We tried desserts too and they were good. We brought our own bottle of wine. The staff was very attentive and personable.
