Nice place but they could do more for the guests that go there to have a weekend of good food and drink as well as a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurants are very overpriced the selections are at a minimum. More

POOL was cold! The pool manager said it was 82 degrees but she should buy a new thermometer. There were two other couples that wouldn't go in because it was so cold. My guess is it was around 74. Otherwise the facility and hotel was nice. Didn't really have any good breakfast place and we saw others leaving the hotel for other restaurants. The Bistecca was pricey but excellent!!

My fiancé and I wanted to have a romantic getaway finally away from the kids and I must say Mount Airy did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly and stay was phenomenal. We will be returning and making this our yearly getaway destination.

Our bathroom had mold on the shower heads, we had a terrible experience with our coffee at the Starbucks on the resort site. We found it to be much better to leave the resort to get food and beverages elsewhere such as the Kalahari Resort near by.

I play video poker slot machines only. Not the ones where you play 3 hands or 15 hands, just one hand of double double. There had been, in the past, enough machines available to make it interesting for me. I visited Mt. Airy last month, and noticed some machines were missing. This month, additional video poker machines were missing, especially the progressive machines. To say the least, there are not enough video poker machines to make my attendance worth while.
