Oh my gosh, they're amazing. Stuffed with some yumminess and the best part are the edges. Can't get enough!

Pamela's is a cash only restaurant with several locations in Pittsburgh. They are well known for their pancakes which have a crisp lacy border. They also have terrific omelets and home fries. Breakfast is served all day. No credit cards accepted. Their coffee is not worth having. Very weak. The meal will come in at less than $10 a person. My grandchildren always order "The Morning After" That consists of two eggs any style, bacon, Sausage or Ham and two of the famous pancakes. Big portions can be shared. Great corned beef hash and Chorizo hash. Locations in Squirrel Hill, Oakland, and the Strip District among others.

Pamela's has several location. I have only been to two, which are great, but I can't comment on the others. My favorite is the one in The Strip, on 21st St, which is the original location, I believe. The pancakes have a well deserved reputation for greatness, but my companions and I have tried many of the offerings to complete satisfaction. Service is quick, and it is worth it to take a few minutes and wander through both rooms looking at all the throwback family photos from people of every stripe.
