This place is beautiful and the sound is amazing too! There are no bad seats. As a matter of fact I sometimes prefer to sit at the very back (top) of the balcony. Refreshments are expensive but you are not there for that...still, there are plenty of places to eat and drink in the area.

Not only is the architecture amazing, but the theater district is growing. This district has grown to include many theaters which cater to different groups, including children. Once a seedy area, it is now a vibrant area with restaurants interspersed throughout. There are Gallery Crawls, Children's International Festival, First Night Activities, , And various events during the summer. Every year at Christmastime there is the Holiday Pops & Fiddlesticks for children. Although Pittsburgh is noted for sports, there are mant other activities & events a growing restaurant scene, etc.

Heinz Hall is a beautiful theater in the cultural district in Pittsburgh. Said to be styled after the famous La Scala in Milan. A wonderful venue for anything.

We got tickets to see the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra’s Holiday Pops concert and man was this an amazing night. First of all the Hall is a first class venue. The architecture and furnishings and impeccable. We sat in the balcony seats and had a great view I honestly don’t believe there is a bad seat in the house. The acoustics were spot on and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will attend another event at the Hall.
