This place is expensive & showing its age.
The wolf den room is s cute theme & good amount of space.
It's not dirty, but it's worn down.
The painting in the 'den' is chipping & looks tired.
The amount of people around the resort is overwhelming.
That being said, we only waited 25 min for the longest water slide. Most were 5-10 min wait.
The resort arcade is a big ripoff. The gift shop is ok, but nothing too special. The fast food choices were decent..Starbucks was the best. The outdoor grill restaurant was pretty good but overpriced. All in all save your money for Disney. This place tries, but comes up way too short for my money.

We went the Friday - Saturday of Memorial day weekend. We have a 2 1/2 year old and 5 1/2 year old. We had a blast. The water park was amazing. Based on some of the other reviews, I wasn't sure how the water temperature would be. I was pleasantly surprised. Some pools were cold but others were very warm. The wave pool, lazy river, and some of the other pools were warm enough to stay in for hours. The hot tub that allowed children was perfect temperature because the children didn't get too hot, and it was a nice temperature for adults. We ordered outside food for dinner. Then we had breakfast sandwiches from the dessert place at Great Wolf and for lunch chicken fingers and hamburgers by the pool. They also had awesome mixed drinks there that unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to try (next time ;) The food there was decent at a decent price. The room was fine. Our sink leaked from the faucet, but we put a small towel on it and it was fine. Our room was on the forth floor and we had no noise issues at all. Just plan to spend money because a lot of the stuff costs. Arcade was ridiculously priced. $10 lasted less than 10 minutes. They have a really expensive spa. We didn't use the bowling alley but that seemed reasonably priced. My 5 1/2 year old said it was the best vacation she ever had and cried when we left.

Room Tip: Forth floor is quieter

My daughter enjoyed her stay very much! We stayed for two nights (3 days). Got the room with the fireplace on ground floor (basement level?). Although it was a bit expensive when we went during spring break $400 per night! But the water park and the Magic Quest were all worth it. We got my daughter the Wolf Pass which is a bargain as it gives you a few "free" things like tattoo, stuffed animal, magic wand and some tokens for the arcade as well as bowling and miniature golf. The best part is definitely the water park rides (slides and lazy river). Both adults and children will enjoy very much. Highly recommended for family with children in primary school to high school age.

It took 24 hours to get wash cloths which is not acceptable since I have a 6 month old and a a 1 yr old that needed to use them.
Check in time is 4 pm. We received our check in text at 4:26 pm that our room was ready.
Once we got into the room, we only had 2 bath towels and we had requested a pack and play prior to arrival which was not in our room. We also requested coffee. The towels and pack and play were sent to our room and as previously stated above, there were no wash cloths and they forgot the coffee. They said they would bring the coffee but they never came back so we had to request it again.
There was cereal (that was not ours) under the sofa bed (saw it once we pulled it out).
Our biggest disappointment was that the Forest Friends Show did not work the entire time we were there. Our small little ones would have loved it.

food at the buffet restaurant was very poor. Kids didn't always follow the 11pm quiet on the hallways rules which made it impossible for my 9 month old to sleep. beds were very uncomfortable for me! I'd suggest bringing your own pillow - unless you like bug bulky ones. Overall the room seemed cleaned (I still wiped it down with lysol wipes) but the rugs seemed a bit on the dingy side.
