This was the first time I ever stayed in a hotel, so I was very nervous. But the staff here are so friendly, that I felt comfortable as soon as I set foot in the building. Got greated with a friendly smile. Breakfast is just as welcoming and inviting, everything tasted good, and everything was so clean.
Even though I was here for work, if I'm ever up in this area for vacation I would stay here again.

I stayed here for two nights while attending the Friday the 13th (Sept, 2019) Camp Crystal Lake Tour in New Jersey.
I really enjoyed my stay here. Steve at front desk was excellent for check-in and check-out, being thorough and helpful.
I liked my room...which was comfortable and clean.
The breakfasts were a highlight as well. It included a great variety of items to choose from (buffet style).
This left me with a great impression of this hotel chain.

Hi I was there last week and had a wonderful holiday. My boyfriend was visiting from Barbados so we found this hotel was exactly what we needed. Our check in experience was very efficient. The front desk lady Aida was very helpful in her knowledge of the local sightseeing attractions. I didn't know how to open the pool door and she came right over to let me in. Our stay there was nice and I'd stay again. The bed was comfortable and bathroom clean. It was also quiet and I don't think any sounds permeate between rooms. There was also a well equipped gym I liked the look of but didn't get to try out. But the pool was cool.

First time staying at the Holiday Inn Express of Stroudsburg, and I must say I was impressed. Very clean and efficient design, I needed a room at the last minute and the staff was very accommodating, Aida at the front desk showed patience working with me over the phone securing a room and directions at a quickly filling up hotel. She made what could of been a stressful situation an accommodating and joyful stay. Will visit again for a stay.

The staff was excellent, especially the breakfast servers. Maria was exceptional. I picked it for easy location from I80.
I would rate higher, but there were problems with the lock on my door. At first it didn't lock when I left the room. Once that was taken care of, my swipe card would not work for 2 days. It was annoying to have to go back down to the desk each day.
It is near the downtown where you can find a number of shops and restaurants, but not in walking distance.
If I were in the area again, I would stay again.
