This is a mixed review so I'll break it down with the very good, not so good/the worst of it...
The very good - Easy check in & check out. Extremely nice staff, especially the breakfast crew! We had 2 ladies (one I believe named Maria) that were running around the floor during b'fast checking on things, refilling as needed. Maria greeted everyone each morning with - Good morning, how are you you? She stopped by the tables to check on the guests & both ladies were making sure everything was well stocked & not in need of a refill. The b'fast itself was okay. They have a decent selection to choose from. I wasn't crazy about the pre-made omelets though & I love a good egg b'fast while vacationing. One morning they had scrambled eggs as an option & I wished they had offered that as an option each morning because they tasted a little better. In any case, there's a good variety of b'fast items so should not be an issue.
Also, fresh hot coffee in the dining area around the clock! Yippee!!
*Just be certain to leave a tip for the b'fast crew as these people work their butts off to make sure the guests are having a great start to the day!
The hotel itself/our room was very clean & spacious. Comfy bed. Bathroom had a large counter (big plus for us ladies who bring just about everything with). Nice shower head, hot water & decent water pressure also a big plus! Wifi no probs. Entrance from parking area remained locked so that made us feel at ease.
The not so good/the worst of it - We were in one of the hot tub rooms. I'm thinking rooms 202, 302 & 402. There are probably more but we were in this line of rooms. First off, the alarm clock did not work. We needed to get an early start one morn & the clock never rang! Thankfully, I did use my cell as a backup but I normally turn off at nite & it only works if kept on (in case anyone was wondering)...
There was no info at all on the TV. No idea what channel we were switching to & no info button at all. That was a little annoying.
Front door was a struggle to open. I read another review that mentioned the same problem with the door sticking.
Parking, for the most part, was okay except for one rainy eve we went out for dinner & upon return we found the parking lot to be nearly all full. So, that could be something to keep in mind.
The bathroom - BIG issues here: Extremely slippery bathtub. They really should look into putting something better down to prevent slippage in the bathtub before someone has an accident. I was completely fearful of slipping on my ass each time I showered. There isn't even anything to hold on to in the bathtub... Not good.
The toilet appears to be very low-flow so maybe provide a plunger per room just in case... Bathroom has next to no ventilation either.
The overall worst part of our stay though, not sure if this is something to do with the hot tub rooms (?) but there was some crazy annoying loud vibration that went on & on & on for hours & hours & hours! It became quite maddening after a while but I did read a review before we booked mentioning something about this. I guess I didn't realize it was a hot tub room. No, I never bothered reporting it to the staff. We just rode it out & by the end of our stay, my husband & I agreed that due to this terrible, near constant, loud vibrating noise, we doubt we would be able to stay at this particular hotel if we return to the area again. Which is a shame because we did kinda liked the hotel overall. We had stayed twice at another area hotel in the past & this one is way cleaner & the staff here is way nicer & much more helpful! So that kinda sucks...
