The room had a stale smoke smell and it was said to be smoke free. It was in an area that wasn’t very appealing. The breakfast was not up to par as the other Holiday Inn Express breakfasts. It is ok and clean if you need to stay in that particular area, but I would stay elsewhere next time.
Could be so much better. The room was nice However, there were numerous issues with the property. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The ice machines on the 3rd AND second floor did not work. The door to the pool and fitness rooms were not locked-any child could easily have wandered in and..... The cooling/heating system did not work well and had to have the temperature constantly adjusted. There is a slight height difference between one part of the room and another. There was chipped paint in at least one small area. I wish to stress that overall, the experience was ok. But adding up all these (mostly) minor issues does count.

The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk at check in was accommodating and friendly. The staff at breakfast time was great Asma was very nice lady during breakfast. I loved the pool because it was raining the whole two days! It is good that it is close by downtown Stroudsburg and they have from the Mall in 611 Rt nearby to the lovely local and historic buildings close by. I was super hungry the first night passed midnight and Wawa was a few minutes away loved it!!!
A great stay with a few minor hiccups. The hotel is near everything! Recreation, dining, and shopping. The room was plentiful and comfortable. The daily breakfast is great and Jojo and his crew make you feel welcome.
The problems we encountered were: our deadbolt did not work, making us feel unsafe; and the light sensor in the bathroom was too sensitive. This is not ideal when you have younger children using the bathroom at night. One employee said nothing could be done, while another said it could have been reprogrammed. I don’t know who told the truth. Also, find out if there is daily housekeeping, we weren’t sure.
Very comfortable beds very clean great location for the Pocono race track. Be sure to go eat at triplets restaurant
Hotel is close to grocery stores in the mountains and please be sure to eat at triplets restaurant. It was awesome and the breakfast in the morning was very nice.
