The room was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The room was just a bit smaller than previous rooms at other locations. The shower was broken so we couldn’t shower which was very unfortunate. I was also charged an additional $50 and not sure why. A lot of money for a small room and broken shower

For the past 35 years of our married life, my wife and I have stayed at countless Best Western Hotels. Our stay at Best Western Plus in Pocono was by far the worst hotel I ever stayed in my entire life (I am 57). We were on our way back to Canada from Atlantic City. we checked in around 9:00 pm and the front desk employee sold us a room with 2 Queen bed (she called it Full Size Beds). We went for dinner and returned to the hotel around 10:30 pm and walked in to our room. It was small room like a shoe box with 2 small single bed (the next day the owner of the hotel called them Twin beds). The bedding or the beds smelled like a Urine. The AC rattled all night to the point that we had turn it off and sleep in a warm room. The window was a solid pain of glass and could not be open. The next day after her shower my wife discovered no hair dryer. We called the front desk and they told us it will take 20 minutes to bring us a hair dryer and that was the only promise they kept. my wife had to sit with her hair wet for 20 minutes. I think they only had one hair dryer in that hotel. when i complained, the owner of the hotel who was the front desk employee, manager, maintenance, cook said they are going through major renovation soon. I asked how that helps us? I am still waiting for the refund of my $50.00 security deposit.

Best Western Plus hotel is a good place to spend a few good nights. The staff is very helpful and professional. The amenities were great. Breakfast should be until 11am and not until 10am on weekends and 9am on weekdays. The hotel has plenty of parking, has a gym and an indoor pool.
