This place was a little old style but was comfortable and quiet. The pool was refreshing and the complimentary breakfast was quite good. This is a good place to stay if you are passing thru the Pocono's or spending a week.
- Free Wifi
- Free Parking
- newly painted exterior
- newly paved driveways
- nice pool
Stayed for 3 nights, family of 2 adults, 2 children, 1 infant. Asked for a crib, one was brought quickly. Arrived in room, AC was on and nice and cool inside. The Inn itself is run down but they seem to be trying to update it. Bathroom could definitely use an update. Our room was clean with lots of towels. Beds were uncomfortable. Wifi was choppy. Breakfast usually consisted of eggs, breads, yogurt, fruit, juice. Not extensive, but good enough to get your family through. Coffee was surprisingly good. Located near outlets.
Well, check in time was supposed to be at 3, we arrived at 3:20 and the housekeeper was in the room next to ours. I told my husband to go in and see if our room was ready. He checked and came back outside and told me no, that the beds were slept in and not made up. Ok, so we are sitting outside for now 30 minutes waiting for her to finish our room and then we noticed that she never took in clean sheets or took out dirty sheets. As she was finishing our room it came to our conclusion that we were going to get someone elses dirty used sheets so I went to the office and complained. The man behind the counter called the housekeeper and asked if she was done with our room and if the beds were made. She said she was almost done. And then he asked if she changed the sheets and she said she did (which was a lie) and i told him that i wanted the bed remade with clean linens. As i'm telling him this, he is apologizing to the housekeeper instead of me! Just totally ruined our stay. Lost out on the pool time we could've had as well as the confidence in knowing the place that i paid way too much for was a disgusting dive!
