The size and comfort of the suite made the family holiday gathering a success. At the end of the stay it was decided that another family gathering would be planned at this site. Everyone was excited and the location was easy to find.

Merry (Belated) Christmas Nadeenep,
It is wonderful to hear that your family enjoyed the Christmas holiday, at our hotel! We often find many stay with us for many different celebrations since we have the full kitchen and living room area, (and housekeeping). It helps alleviate some of the stress that can come with having it in one's home - or is perfect for those that are unable to do so.
Looking forward to having you back with us, for your next one!

Happy Holidays,
From all of us at Sonesta ES Suites

That was first stay for me. I was satisfied with clean rooms, beds and bath rooms. And cost was lower than other similar hotels.
A negative point was Hotel shuttle. It runs 7am to 7pm. I hope early morning and late night transportation would give more satisfaction to guests.

Hi try_sugimura,

We take great pride in our cleanliness and currently do have some great specials due to winter season being upon us! Thank you for mentioning both of these so others can notice as well.

We are grateful we're able to provide a free shuttle within a 2 mile radius of the hotel, which includes the airport, a shopping mall, and many shopping centers and restaurants. For those time frames when its not available there are taxis and ride sharing companies in the area and airport which is usually about $10 and helps supplement our shuttle hours. Your feedback is appreciated.

Our family recently spent the weekend here. We needed to be close to downtown Providence but did not want to pay downtown hotel rates.
The hotel was about 10 minutes from downtown, with easy access to I-95.
We were surprised at the layout of the hotel. There were individual 4 unit buildings, connected by a courtyard and walkway. The grounds were very pretty, very similar to resorts we've been to in the Caribbean and Mexico, except that it was 20 degrees this weekend and there was ice on the walkway.
We liked the idea of our own building and being able to just open our door and be outside, but in reality it was a bit of a headache, being that it was so cold and we had to put on coats and gloves in order to get to the breakfast area in the main lobby. We avoided using the indoor pool because we did not want to have to run back to our room while still wet from swimming.
The breakfast was wonderful, with fresh fruit, hot choices, yogurts, cereals, bagels and cakes. There was plenty of room and we never felt crowded.
The room was a nice size, with a queen bed and a pullout. The fully stocked kitchen area was also a nice size. The room was clean and the beds and linens were comfortable.
We opted for a ground floor room because we did not want to carry our bags up the steps. We did hear our upstairs neighbors walking around in their room, so soundproofing of the rooms could be improved. Luckily, our neighbors were early night people so we were not disturbed and there was no child jumping around, but if you are
sensitive to noise, consider a top floor room.
We would stay here again when back in the area. Hopefully next time it will be warmer outside.

Hi GN3Traveller,

Thank you for your review and for staying with us! Our layout is very much designed for those extended stay guests to feel like they're in their own townhouse. It is really private set up with only 4 rooms to one side of a building. If you return and you don't want to stay on the ground floor, we're happy to assist bringing luggage upstairs for you.

I'm glad you were able to enjoy the swimming pool and the full hot breakfast buffet! In warmer weather, we also have the sport court for play. Hope to have you stay with us again.

We stayed here overnight to be close to the airport and was impressed with the price, location, staff, cleanliness and comfort. We will stay here again our next visit to Providence and not just for the last night.

Hi John E,

I hope this email finds you had safe travels. We really appreciate your review and definitely glad to hear you'll be coming back. Our proximity to the airport does make life super convenient for anyone traveling out of PVD and an added bonus... the flight patterns don't have planes traveling over the hotel which helps one truly relax.

My toddler got a 2nd degree burn with the waffle maker during breakfast it seems like the only people that cared about the incident was Yoselin and Leydi who went above and beyond for my son during our stay. Vanessa at the front desk was very warm with us and filled us with great advice of the area. We end up checking out and going to another property because of several issues we experienced at this hotel and the rate was more competitive at another name brand hotel . During our stay we also found feces outside on the garden close to our door at about 8am (at that time it should have been cleaned for morning guests). I felt some of the staff was not knowlegeable about the Sonesta member benefits or what was advertised on the Sonesta website as far as what should be honored when having "elite status". It's a growing hotel and there's a lot of room for improvement.

Dear adag20172017,

I'm so sorry to hear about your son! I just learned of it and we have since moved the waffle iron to an area a child can't reach up and grab for it as we take that very seriously. This has been in the same location for years and we've never had an incident before and we're so very thankful for that and really saddened to learn about your son. I do apologize that your experience wasn't enjoyable for you. I am sorry that I'm reading this now and it wasn't mentioned when I asked how everything with your stay was going to either yourself or your husband, because I promise you had I known anything was less than perfect for you I would have corrected it immediately. I want to thank you for staying with us as long as you have. It truly was a pleasure to say hello to your family during the breakfasts and evening social. Your son livened up the lobby with his trucks and cars and we will miss that in the morning.
