We loved our trip to Bull's Island with Coastal Expeditions! I have been on several trips with this company from Paddle boarding to Kayaking and now the ferry to Bull's Island. This company has never disappointed me!! Mick and Annie were spectacular in their knowledge of the area and explanations of the options for us once we arrived on the island. Also, their website has accurate information of what you will see and do on the excursion, they don't oversell the experience!

Thank you, especially for the last line! We actually talk about this when we write descriptions because we don't want you to be misled or "feel duped." Bulls Island is INCREDIBLE but it certainly isn't for everyone. We're glad that it's for you.

I Would 100% recommend this to anyone who enjoys walking, close encounters with alligators, privacy on the beach, seeing dolphins, and more. It was a highlight of our honeymoon and every moment of the day was enjoyable. Nick and Annie were helpful in advising us on what trails to take based on our goals, and we're informative about how to have a successful day - including what to do when we see an alligator. The weather will likely change the experience for everyone, but for us, sunny and 65 made for an absolutely amazing day.

Our family enjoyed viewing God’s creation during this trip. Even though the weather wasn’t fabulous, the ship captain was gracious and accommodating - encouraging everyone to dress appropriately. The captain was engaging and worked to educate and show us many things about the local geography and ecology. We would defiantly book with this company again!

We used Coastal Expeditions for a trip to Morris Island to find shark teeth. It was absolutely the best money we spent in Charleston! Mr. Mike was fantastic with our two boys- helping them locate the really cool teeth, but also explaining to them what other treasures they found. He was knowledgeable, patient and kind. The trip included a nice boat cruise of the harbor, where the Captain told us about the history of the area and the homes along the shore. The Naturalist (Mr Mike for us) told us all about the nature we were seeing and explained to the group how the harbor is dredged and maintained. Once on the island, it really is just a nice stroll on the beach- but full of teeth, sand dollars and cool shells! Make sure you bring a snack, maybe a beach towel to sit on and lots of sunscreen! We would absolutely use these guys for other tours on future trips. Every single person we interacted with was great!

What a great trip today! The weather was perfect and the total get away from regular life was so restorative. The island was beautiful, the crew was excellent and our naturist Tommy was superb (he knew absolutely everything and his enthusiasm was contagious!!) We gathered a number of stunning shells and a large horseshoe crab shell that will go on our kitchen wall to remind us of this fabulous trip. We recommend this trip. Thank you so much!!
