Very nice and clean. We checked in and went to our room, we discovered the floor was soaking wet around the A/C unit. We promptly notified the maintenance staff and they immediately responded. He drained the water out and vacuumed up the excess water and apologized for any inconvenience. We would def stay there again, my son lives on James Island so this was very convenient for us. We really like the location on the waterway and California Dreaming Restaurant.

The hotel was clean. We had constant problems with the door lock. The place was noisy at all times of the day and night. The shower nozzle fell off in my hand. The staff never changed the light bulb even when I removed it and left it on the table for them. The pool is rented out to a swim instructor for toddlers in the mornings. I would not stay here again.

Stayed with my family and pet we loved it nice location room was clean and very nice at check-in we were greeted with a smile short walk to a good restaurant nice pool area I found a great place to stay when I visit again

My husband and I just spent the weekend here and LOVED it!! The location and the room were perfect, the only complaint is the staff. It started with check-in, we walked in completely drenched and stood with another group for about 10 mins before anyone came from the back room to assist us. When the clerk did help us, she lacked all basic human courtesies... It was literally "Let me see your ID and card, here is your room key". That was it, no information about checkout or breakfast or anything. Another time we went to purchase some drinks and again stood around waiting for someone to come from the back... Then she laughed saying she has no idea we were there. Overall, it was still a great stay but the staff could use a bell at the front desk and training on basic pleasantries.

We visited Folly Beach and wanted something affordable. The price was great (even better with AARP discount) and the hotel was super clean and super friendly, plus a nice breakfast. Our family felt like we had found a true winner with this location. In fact the only negative is some confusion with the national reservation number (this is NOT in WV!).

This is just a reminder that you don't have to pay the higher prices to be on the beach when it only takes a few minutes to get there. I will start with this location the next time we are here!
