Well, maybe the title is more sensational than need be for lovers of beauty and great gardens, but no doubt it captured the attention of those not usually looking for a venue offering flora and fauna. Those just wanting a quiet stroll as well as history buffs and camellia mavens can find much of value here. There is a restored train car as well as an old cabin to capture the attention of those who need to set their sights on more than landscape, but oh the landscape! Beautiful themed gardens, a peaceful lake, sparkling streams, unusual sculpture and an easy walk make this a wonderful venue for an enjoyable afternoon. There gift shop was not open when I visited despite signage saying it was. A disappointment but not enough to ruin a visit. Bring your camera.
