It's been awhile since we ate here and we were pleasantly surprised by the newer versions of some staple fare. Their calzones are prepared with a "pretzel dough" that is super yummy. I recommend the veggie calzone and my husband recommends the deluxe Stromboli. Service was a tad slow, and our waitress admitted that it was her first week on the job so I won't hold it against them.

The pizza joint always has very good pizza that you can get by the slice with an awesome selection of toppings or their whole pizzas with great combinations. They always have a great beer selection so you can have pretty much any type to meet your mood and your pizza. They also have great sandwiches and garlic knots.

My husband and I have been to the Pizza Joint twice for lunch now. Both times we have thoroughly enjoyed our meal. They have lunch specials for a very reasonable price. Be prepared for large slices of pizza! Someone with us got a sandwich and couldn't have been happier (and he is a picky eater). Lunch hour in Columbia is very busy, but we still managed to get in and out within 45 minutes or so. The location is a little out of he way, but it's worth it.

I’ve eaten on several occasions at the Pizza Joint and have been pleased each time. On Tuesdays, it’s $2 slice and $2 draft beers so you can expect it to be little crazy. The slice is large and floppy with a medium hard, powdery crust. If pizza’s not your thing, they have good sandwiches too as well as calzones. And as far as craft beers, there’s a pretty decent selection on draft. Give the Pizza Joint a try!

You can't beat two items for around $6. The salads are good and the pizza hot. Not too busy for lunch and really good food at low prices. We'll worth a stop here.
