Stayed a night on a trip through the area. Although the motel looked to have been there awhile, they had updated the long vanity in the room to quartz with a modern faucet. It was a good size for two people to use. Non-smoking room smelled a little smoky, but was clean. Beds were fine, sheets a little stiff, and pillows were a variety of firmness and comfortable.

Didn’t have time to grab more than juice and a banana for breakfast, but their breakfast looked good and included eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy plus a variety of cereals, bagels and other items.

Staff was friendly at check-in and at departure. I would stay again.

We needed a spot for a one-night stay and this was it based on price. It's a decent spot for a night or two but probably not an extended stay. Rooms were updated but you could tell it was still an older property overall.

Dear Guest,
We appreciate you taking time to write review. As you said we are older property but we focus on cleanliness, Good Hot Breakfast, wi-fi and great guest services to all our guests at reasonable price. We make sure they get good value for the price paid. We did not score well but seems like you enjoyed stay with us.

This place had average reviews but the main thing was people found it clean which is one of the main things I look for when traveling. We checked in late Saturday and the clerk said my credit card as declined. What! No way, he tried it again; did not work. Gave him another card and it went through. We were given the top floor as requested and when we opened the door, everything looked ok. Started turning on lights and the one over the vanity would not work; went to call the front desk and the phone cord was missing so I had to walk down there. There were 2 clerks there this time and they gave me another top floor room on the other side. When we opened this door, there was a stale smell but everything seemed ok. I called the credit card company immediately and was told the clerk was putting in the expiration date wrong that the card was ok. She said we could put a hold on it or reissue a new one if we felt there might be a security issue. We cancelled the card and are awaiting a new one. I went back to the desk and told the clerk this but he was very defensive and proceed to tell me identity theft could be taken from anything - a mortgage or something else we owed on. Told him we did not have any debt; everything was paid for. He still wanted to be defensive and stood there with his arms crossed. Told him never mind, I'd contact the manager - he asked why. Well, to discuss my stay at this motel. When I went back to the room we notice the toilet was loose when you sat on it and it had been leaking because there was rust on the floor. When we tried to use the hairdryer it would not work and there we were in our bed clothes with wet hair. We just used the towel to dry. We were so dissatisfied with this stay we did not eat breakfast there but decided to eat on the road. I am in the process of email the facility/motel chain about this to see if I get any response.

Dear Guest,
Apologize for inconvenience. But I would like to clarify your understanding about Credit Card. We have Chip Card Machines to process Credit Cards. We don't type CC manually, rather guest themselves put CC in Chip Card Reader. So, there in no question of stealing your identity. No clerk can read your CC
Gentlemen at CC Company provide you wrong information too. As I said we don't put your CC # manually. Only possibility I see is while you were checking inn Chip Card Reader might be not functioning well and and that is why it was giving wrong message and could be the reason it was authorizing but on screen different message. I am sure you have been charged only once for your stay even though it authorized twice or thrice. You must have got all authorization back to your account.
Accept my sincere apology for inconvenience.

On the highway frontage road, near an abandoned gas station, this motel was a little marginal, but quite cheap. The air conditioner was noisy, the bed not so comfortable ... but did I mention that it's cheap?

Son & I stopped here on our way through to Georgia. Arrived under the guise of darkness and was pleasantly surprised when we woke up. Staff pleasant when we arrived even though there was a city wide water shortage! They called my number to make us aware ahead of time. Sleeping quiet and very comfy. Room was clean and updated. Breakfast was lovely and lobby understatedly nice. Definitely CLEAN & nothing stinky about it. Would stay again & recommend to others!
